ve·ran·da –noun
1. a large, open porch, usually roofed and partly enclosed, as by a railing, often extending across the front and sides of a house
These are a few of my favorite things - travel, Disney, photography, writing.
Adventure Veranda exists because I want to make something that lives in the intersection of all of the above.
In my mind's eye - the Verandah is a covered porch that wraps around a stately British Colonial house. Hard to say how long the house has been here - although it is clearly not new. It seems to exist outside of (or perhaps alongside) time.
The veranda has lots of comfy wicker chairs, and friendly (if intermittent) folks who stop by to see if you need libations. Storytelling is thirsty work.
The house itself displays an eclectic collection of photos, trinkets, and other mementos of previous destinations.
Thanks for stopping by. Feel free to look around, share a story, or just find a comfy spot to sit. I'm sure someone will be by to take your drink order eventually...
